Location & Facilities
Edinburgh
Our University is situated in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, a major UK city and home to the Scottish Parliament. Voted as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Edinburgh is lively, diverse and vibrant. The population of the city is around 460,000 and as it is home to 4 universities. It is a student-friendly city with many shops, bars, clubs and restaurants offering discounts to students.
Although it’s a cosmopolitan European city, Edinburgh is actually quite compact and easy to get about and with its own airport and excellent rail links to the north and the south it’s also in an excellent location to visit the rest of the UK and Europe. Edinburgh is also a very safe city in which to live and study.
Campus
Our campuses embody this spirit. In the past the sites were used for a wide range of purposes, from hospitals and churches to private estates and a castle. Our three main campuses (Craighouse, Craiglockhart and Merchiston) have extensive histories reaching back over 700 years.
Craiglockhar
Home to The Business School, Craiglockhart is recently reopened after extensive refurbishment resulting in a stunning building and state-of-the-art facilities. This includes 2 large lecture theatres, cyber café, language labs and computing
Merchiston
Located in the lively Bruntsfield area, Merchiston Campus is a unique blend of the past and present.. The Faculty of Engineering, Computing & Creative Industries, and the School of Life Sciences can be found here.
Canaan Lane
The Canaan Lane Campus is situated within the grounds of the Astley Ainslie Hospital in Morningside and currently hosts a large part of the Faculty of Health, Life & Social Sciences and is home to the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Care.

The following students are eligible to apply for University Accommodation:
• Students who have accepted an Unconditional offer to study at Edinburgh Napier University
(Conditional offers cannot apply until their offer is made unconditional)
• Undergraduate students in their first year of study at Edinburgh Napier University
• Students staying for the full academic year
• Students who live out side Edinburgh and do not have an EH post code
We have 197 self catering flats for 900 students in the city centre costing between £89 and £94 per weekWe have limited spaces for Postgraduate students.

The Business School

The Faculty of Health, Life & Social Sciences
Dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities in a vibrant and supportive learning environment.. The Faculty encompasses three schools: Health & Social Sciences; Life Sciences; and Nursing, Midwifery & Social Care.
The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Creative Industries
This is the largest faculty in the University in terms of its teaching, research, and knowledge transfer activity. We have around 4,000 students, several hundred full-time academic staff and professional support staff. Our students come from over 90 countries around the world, and this diversity enhances the learning experience for both students and staff, as well as University life. The Faculty encompasses three schools: Computing; Creative Industries & Engineering; and the Built Environment.

Scholarships
Saltire Scholarship (British Council)
The British Council will offer 8 postgraduate scholarship awards of £2,000 each. In order to be eligible to apply you must meet the following criteria:
• have an unconditional offer of a place at a Scottish university on an eligible course
• be a citizen of Canada, the People's Republic of China, India or the USA
• be able to demonstrate that you can meet the costs of living and remaining tuition fees
• complete an application form and submit it to your selected institution by the closing date
• not have completed an undergraduate course in Scotland.
Deposits & Discounts
It is policy for the University to request a £3,000 deposit from each international student paying over £6,500. You will be required to pay this in order to receive your Certificate of Acceptance for Studies letter which you need if you are applying for a student visa. You will receive information regarding this before you start your studies.
Students who pay their fees in full 30 days before matriculation students will be eligible for a £150 discount.
